Just 7 minute walk from the Oyamadai and Kuhonbutsu Stations, Todoroki is known as a wonderfully quiet residential area in Setagaya. This modern Japanese-style, 9LDK house accommodates up to 9 people in private rooms.
As you walk into the house, you can feel why it has been dubbed the “inspiration house”. The house is accented by an outer garden with great lighting, a central courtyard lit by candles, a living room and kitchen with solid wood flooring, and walls hand painted by artists. The people living here also reflect this diverse, quirky atmosphere, from the flower shop keeper, to the web designer with a knack for cooking. Residents come from as far north as Hokkaido and as far south as Australia. Their occupations vary from office ladies to consultants, to actors part-timing at restaurants to accountants. Their bond was not from being friends or family, but grew from meeting as share mates and living together. A bond that grew as they became colleagues and friends. A bond that developed as people of different cultures and values gathered and grew together. While many events take place as various people gather together here, what everyone shares is the idea that it's fun to grow and improve by influencing one another. That's the Come On Up Share House.
